Overview

Leadpages is a landing page building tool and conversion marketing platform used by over 45,000 people. Anyone can use it to build landing pages from scratch without any design experience. Their approach is focused on helping digital entrepreneurs create marketing funnels that experience conversion rates well above the industry average.

As the Leadpages team moved into offering services to support their customers with a hands-on approach, I was brought on to help facilitate and grow these services.

Leadpages saw a higher-than-usual churn rate for their customer base after the pandemic. Therefore, they created several services to keep customers invested in the platform and see results faster for their own businesses. These services included Service Hours, 30 Leads in 30 Days Program, Landing Page Creation, Monthly Coaching, and Done-For-You Marketing Funnels.

My goal for this project was to use my visual design and conversion marketing expertise to empower Leadpages customers to grow their business, resulting in a 0.5% decrease in churn rate (2.8% to 2.3%) and an increase in the customer lifetime value.

Daily Landing Page Audits

Part of my role and responsibilities at Leadpages was to review landing pages submitted by customers and audit them individually. These audits aim to increase the customer's conversion rates on the associated page.

The audits were done by recording a 15-minute video with a voice-over to explain key changes. Videos were shared with the customer over email. Over 10% of customers replied to these emails expressing deep satisfaction with this service.

Over the 9-month period, I served 20 audits per day.

Done-For-You Marketing Services

The second initiative to decrease customer churn and increase customer lifetime value was Done-For-You Marketing Services. During the earlier months of my role, I created a full business model for the Leadpages marketing team that outlined a new service-based model to pair with their SaaS product. This business model was used to create brand-new services supporting customers by creating full marketing funnels.

I empowered five customers per week by creating landing pages for their products along with sharing expert advice to establish email sequences, product strategies, and advertising campaigns. One of these customers used the landing pages I created for them to attract 20 paying customers and a 30% conversion rate.
